Kimball Converse Pier is a licensed marriage and family therapist who lives and works near lake Tahoe, California. She is now partially retired and is devoting time to completing her second book, and to Dancin’ Annie Creations. Kimball earned her bachelor’s degree from the University of Washington, her masters in marriage and family therapy at Seattle Pacific University, and her Ph.D. at Pacifica Graduate Institute in depth psychology. In 2010, she founded Sierra Agape Therapeutic Services, a non-profit organization dedicated to offering a range of healing services, including individual and family therapy, divorce and parenting mediation, body work, and spiritual practices. She is an avid athlete, and loves to trail run, Nordic ski, and ride her bike. She is married with two grown children, her daughter Jessie, and her sone James and one granddaughter, Sierra Jade.
